Nairobi, Kenya–January 18-27, 2014: For the 5th consecutive year, the World Music Mission will reside at Brackenhurst Conference Centre (www.brackenhurst.com) for a week of worship with the missionaries of SIMSudan. They base in Nairobi (for logistical reasons) as Sudan has transformed (and continues to transform) into two distinct nations. The roughly 80 missionaries serve in and across Sudan. They serve as doctors, nurses, linguists, engineers, evangelists, technicians, business developers, and pilots. Thanks for the guitar strings and the awesome time of worship at SLC.Â I mentioned a while back that one of the students at Gideon TheologicalÂ CollegeÂ would probably enjoy having new sets of strings. This is amazing to be here in Kenya. We have taken the luggage to our rooms and I have unpacked my suitcases. I laid down for a few minutes to rest, but who can sleep when there is a whole new world and people to meet?
In January 2010, the WMM sent a short-term team to Nairobi, Kenya to lead worship for the SIM/Sudan Spiritual Life Conference. The team led worship forÂ 70 missionaries and their families, many of whom are serving long-term in Sudan.
