This is amazing to be here in Kenya. We have taken the luggage to our rooms and I have unpacked my suitcases. I laid down for a few minutes to rest, but who can sleep when there is a whole new world and people to meet?
In January 2010, the WMM sent a short-term team to Nairobi, Kenya to lead worship for the SIM/Sudan Spiritual Life Conference. The team led worship forÂ 70 missionaries and their families, many of whom are serving long-term in Sudan.
In June, 2010, the World Music Mission sent a short-term team to serve with World Harvest Mission at their international convention in Eretria, Greece. The journey was made difficult due to a British Airways strike. An extra flight made the journey 36 hours and nearly all of their baggage did not arrive with them. One keyboard was even destroyed in transit. What did they do? They pulled out the acoutic guitars, borrowed a hand drum and all worshipped at full volume with 300 WHM missionaries!
