GREECE 2015--The Team--sights and observations
As a worship leader it’s easy to get lost in the details: such as ensuring the best key for the congregation or making the transition between the songs just right. As leaders we’re rarely satisfied and often feel that we haven't quite ‘gotten there’. Leading the SIM leaders here in Greece I’ve received much grace and encouragement. There’s nothing quite like leading a group of worshippers who respond so mightily that my voice and guitar are drowned out. The worship is strong because God’s Spirit is present because He inhabits the praises of His people. And we are His people. This is joyful praise, the rhythms of grace.
